Great to see the young ones learning how to use the tools and getting dirty. I'm working on a project with my son as well. He likes to get out to the shop and help out. but I will say some days it's hard to get him off the video games.

With that said, he has the new Need for Speed for the PS3 and it has my CTSV in it and I sat don and played a little with him the other day and 30 mins passed before I realized it.

I ran out of his rooming to the garage as fast as I could, grabbed a Lone Star Beer, lit up a cigar, put on my welding hood, and rocked myself to sleep to the sound of my bender grinder.....

LOL- I had to quit the video games- with me it wasn't a half hour - more like a day and a half. .....

Grampa used to keep cases of Lone Star on the porch and drank them hot. I like my cigars too. I smoke Dutch Masters Presidents and occasionally Alamo Sweets. Usually 1/2 of one with the morning cofee.

Say- How many of those Lone Stars did you have? Around here we call 'em bench grinders- or do you have a machine that bends tubing and grinds it at the same time?

Everything is really coming together. Seat is reupholstered, 4point harness should be here today; axle is fixed, and I am about to do some work on the brake setup as it does not sit on the hub correctly....

Having an issue with the predator......runs great until you give it some gas and then it wants to stall.....

Well, figured out the predator issue, rejetted and she runs like a champ.

Now having some squealing from the band brake and posted a new thread about switching to a disc setup.

Any suggestions?

Well, kinda got the brake sorted out.....now having the dreaded hot clutch issue.....the boy does not ride it much, but I am going to regear it to cool off the clutch.....after reading, I am going to go with a new chain, 12/72T and new max torque clutch......10" tires btw......

After I am happy with it, it is going up for sale.....need some advice on a starting price.

The boy wants a proper Hot Rod Truck, so this will be the down payment.....
