110 mm is 4.33 inches, and adapter plate is easy to make.

I did find this on the gopowersports site:
5.5" Live Axle Hub
$27.95
SKU:KD110LA

10mm Studs
110mm Bolt Pattern
5 1/2" Dia Flange
2 3/4" Hub Length
1" Bore
1/4" Keyway

Cindipdx, that's a good find. I've tried to locate metric stuff for folks and mostly failed, I ain't British. Just now put that GPS page in my favorites column for the future.

Those hubs were just what I needed. Had to enlarge the holes a tiny bit. I have the whole assembly mocked up in plywood. Need to tweak my CAD drawings a bit then get my parts cut by the waterjet. 3D164CB6-89ED-41E2-AF20-C8AE718261AE.jpeg894E68B8-033E-4411-BBDB-62C8957E14FA.jpeg5BBC6432-AE70-4385-99CD-4BD59001E367.jpegDAFC09BF-F0A6-482E-99DB-92199E74C603.jpeg
last picture was an early mock-up in the frame

Is that the Miata diff ? I did the same thing, but I made a sheet metal CAN to contain the gears, then put 2 zirk fittings in the can and filled it with grease.

If it is a positraction it should be filled with the proper lube instead of grease. Does it have clutch plates in it?

I don’t think he is going to use aluminum tubing because it could not take the weight. It would fold like a cheap suit.

you're not supporting the carrier with the tube....you're just covering it to keep the crud out !

No I’ve known about it for years. The problem is where I live out in the sticks there ain’t any Myattos around for me to snag one. So I forgot about them. I hope you got the axles, hub bearings and control arms too. It would make your life a whole lot easier. Bonus points if you got the brake rotors and calipers also!

I didn't get any of the other stuff. This will just be a simple rigid axle. No room under the 'glass shell for anything else. Just a bar hopper not a freeway flyer.
