The steering problem seems to have been caused by the front tires being out of alignment. So I straightened them up and now it turns way better. They were far too toe-in.

I've been working on things every week, just wanted to show off the exhaust and muffler I made.

Custom muffler and exhaust I welded together for a 420cc Predator engine, all stock except for a high flow filter and bigger main jet.

It needs testing and painting but it's nearly done. And some other things, like making the sheet metal look nicer. As much as I can, at least.

Really like the fan idea for the CVT. They used to have those for both centrifugal clutch assemblies (usually a jackshaft setup) with a cover as well as for TC/CVTs. You'd see them on older parts diagrams, Comet Industries brand usually, and wonder what the heck is that fan for.

Engine sounds really healthy and I admire the central exhaust.

Thanks. I put the fan in the CVT because the whole engine bay is enclosed, so I wanted to get some air flow. Not sure how well it will flow but it was only a one day project so no biggie.
