"GREAT NEWS! The purchase of 3D Motorsport Engineering is complete. As a former avid customer, I wanted this unique clutch to remain available for all to enjoy.

It will take a few months before product availability, but it's in process. I am in touch with suppliers to start building inventory again.

Hmm.. went to the website

and it is UNCHANGED since 2017 for all I can tell

no hint of that message anywhere not even on their fb-page (screenshot below)...

how come?

Can’t really think of any reasons why it could be malware but I guess it’s possible. IF it is though, it’s built into the website, because I run Firefox with Adblock Plus AND Ghostery and it still shows up.

I see the powr.io address in the source code (part of the myshopify javascript code)

I can't tell; but no popup not showing up here
(on no browser on no device so far.. not even with adblocking disabled)

I wonder if its not a regional thing? Maybe it only pops up for those in North America? Either way, I'm skeptical. If nothing official doesn't arise from the Facebook page, then it's probably a scam.

Nice! I was just looking into getting one a couple months ago and saw they were no longer in production. Really good to hear that its coming back! I just hope they get the support they need to stay running

We don't know if it's true or not. It could be a scam or something. I'd check the company's social media pages for any official updates or PM them with a screen shot and ask to know if it's TRUE or not.

Yeah Im not buying just yet but I really do hope they are coming back. There really isnt alot of transmission parts for the honda clones out there besides the tc and centrifugal clutch.

wasn't that all they are good for? as in no slip like a normal clutch basically for drag racing?

Should be comparable to a motorcycle clutch. Depends how you operate the lever, id have to imagine.
