Looking for a parts source for a 3.5 hp briggs horizontal shaft engine

Its a flathead ....thought it would be simple to find parts for

That is the family number, not the model number

You need the model number

Where should one look for the model number on the engine? Thanks

Yeah, that's not the right number. On older Briggs at least, the numbers are STAMPED into the metal above that area, but IDK with the 90s Briggs. Check all over for other numbers.
