Those superchargers are the same price if not more expensive than say a Traxxas 2.5R or 3.3R. Usually those run around $125 or so. Thos superchargers are snake oil. The 2 stroke engines for RCs do not have regular valves and so it's just a show piece really. An acquaintance of mine bought one of these superchargers for his Jato 3.3 and it did nothing. He would have been better off going with like an Ofna or maybe shoehorning an engine from HPI or going with different gearing.

It has the power to move like a 1/5th scale R/C but not much larger than that. Majority of the 1/5th scales are powered by 23cc 2 stroke gas engines.

Yeah, even though it makes 3.2 HP, it'll hardly have torque, at least in the karting sense.
PS - Also, HP ratings are usually VERY optimistic.

And even if it was enough, it'll be a headache to hook up the drivetrain, and for $1,400, You could get an advanced Stage 4 engine! Then you get over 20 HP!
