Thank you. I have finally set up the lathe. To get there, I have build a gantry crane, movable steel table and made my first project_ a lathe spider.
More practice and reading are needed since I am a newbie. It's all trial and error....
Check out some pics....The gantry should be an extra hand building or lifting go kart. It is extendable for extra height and wide enough to straddle over pick-up truck bed or trailer. Lathe for some go kart projects such as an improvement on the remote choke
