I would just weld up that little hole in the exhaust, Probably not an issue either way though.

Looking good so far nice work.

Bit of work in the shed today, cold and wet and not much happened but here's some pics.
My cut off wheel wore out so now cutting will be a challenge:(

that's the brake pedal by the way.

mounting the homemade dogbones if thats what theyre called, this will allow rear suspension.

yeah, I had a bolt going through the wheel to hold it on, but it came loose so the wheel slid straight off. later the axle broke completely because it was hollow and lathed:rolleyes: bad idea.

some ideas here for the back, also the beginning stages of what might end up being suspension arms!

Why not just a get long bolt and a small tube. Those hinges are not going to hold up for long.

Theyre pretty big hinges, and I couldn't find any more pipe that I could use. I used it all at the front.

Yeah, Auastralia sounds like a nice place to visit. But apparently hardware stores are very few and FAAAAAAAR between! lol

Or a metal store. I never buy metal at a hardware store. Not even nuts and bolts. Buy metal at a metal shop and bolts at a bolts store.

metal costs 6ish dollars per metre, and when I have a shed full of metal and endless nuts and bolts, I prefer not to waste the $$. It won't look as dope as it could I know, but at least it will run :D

I'm afraid those hinges won't break soon enough before those half shafts do and kill him. I see this ending badly.

:iagree:

We should have some good what not to do videos before the end of this year! I'm going to weld the **** out of mine so if wheels fall off, the chassis will stay together and protect me? maybe?

Cant wait for the crazy videos!
