So there are actually "minibike drag races" somewhere?
How many feet do they race?
How fast are they?
Will yours run winning speeds?

West coast , Detroit they are all over,. Around me not so much !

The distance varies wherever. Anything from a 100' to 1/4 mile.

The fast ones are 80+mph

And yes mine will be able to keep up with my mods but right now not so much. But it would still keep up with 90% of them i bet as it sits.

Well the timing key doesn't do anything for the stock engine with just air filter and exhaust. But it was worth trying i guess. Lol


And I'm pulling it all apart sundayish to put the new carburetor on.......................

Well I got problems but it's running good still...............

I have destroyed 2 hub sprocket keys in 2 days. When I hits the wheelie bar it kills them. I got some different key stock cause a bunch of guys are filming and testing at thunder valley tonight so I'm going no matter what !!!! Might have to cruise around til the end tho. Lol

Cruised the ole dragstrip all day and night with the new key stock......... New found pleasures of not having any issues all day and night !!! Ran and rode perfecto. The sweet 32mm carb shall be installed this week sometime also. Maybe if it ever gets below a 100* or so. Lol

Did you buy a motorcycle throttle cable? My carb just showed up and can't get a cable to fit right. Sure seams to be a better carb for these engines with the gov removed.

Why yes I did. And it was only a mere $6 shipped. It doesn't quite go full throttle all the way but it works good....................

Joe this bike is awesome. I'll be honest, I am brand new to the forum and I didn't even know that drag mini bikes existed before today. Reading through this thread and watching the project come along is really cool.

But yeah I'm in okc. And I been looking at them a long time. This one will either kill me or hit 88mph first. Which is my goal for the 1/8 mile at the dragstrip.

YouTube has a bunch if videos from Detroit, east coast, or west coast. Just nothing in the central.............well yet anyways. I'm trying to get something going.

Not gonna lie, you throw around numbers like 88 on a rig that size and you have scared me off. I'll stay tuned for vids and may come out to see it in person if you run it at strip near the city, but I want no part of being on it - LOL!!!

I took it to thunder valley Saturday for the pro street shootout. And your reply was right along with everybody else's. **** I through the key at a few street outlaw guys I know and they threw it back ! Lol
