20 series torque converter carter go kart

My torgue converter seems to be working fine. I hit the gas and it goes just fine but the belt does squeal For a second or 2 is that normal. I just got this over the winter and do not know how long it sat.

That belt looks really loose.

Is there any numbers you can read on the belt?

And while your at it measure the center to center distance on the 2 units of the TC.

Center to center is right around 8 1/2

Center to center can bee adjusted that back pulley moves with the sprocket

Some one else might have a better chart but I find that belt should have a center to center of 9-3/16 to 9-1/4"

If you can't get that spacing you need a shorter belt.
