looks pretty sweet! I would love to see a header pipe snaking out the back though!

Gonna build one later. She wants it quiet. 😂

Got the body holes drilled. Had to snap a few before disassembling again.

All welded up and got the engine started for the first time finally...........

And the new shocks are installed which makes the front end complete finally !

And I cut the body to fit the switch panel to retain all the predator 420cc essentials........like electric start.:thumbsup:

Got it all done this morning. Took it for a spin and did some wheelies !

Then the jackshaft bearings grenaded. Hopefully they were defects. I have also removed the governor as it was effecting throttle response really badly. So if I can find some bearings tomorrow it will be back up and running again.

I really like it, i've always wanted one of those. Like the key switch, if and only if u decide that the crotch area wasn't a good idea for that key box. I do make 80's style atc key switch pads. Not trying to sell u anything but the option is available for a top clamp style key switch.
Anyway keep up the good work.
pics just to show you, can/will delete this post, if not appropriate im really not a salesman/just my hobby.

Thanks ! But this model you sit away from it by quite a bit. It’s actually kind of a reach where it’s at. If I build something else I’ll definitely remember you have those. They look really good.

And I’ve found out the bearings are junk. And somebody said the 3/4 style 1-3/8 bearing are junk also. And to switch over to 5/8 shaft.

I bought some tractor supply bearings earlier and I’ve rode it already. Just no wheelies til I buy these bearings I found. They are double the width so I think they will work really well.

New bearings are installed already. Now tearing the rear end apart to make way for a much needed disc brake conversion. The drum brakes wouldn’t stop at all. Like you could push it by hand when BOTH brake levers were pulled !

I found a 6” brake rotor from gopowersports in Texas that should work really well. I have to use a 3/4” to 1” adapter but it will still be ok.

Got the brake caliper bracket profiled out of a ruler ! Looks like the hydraulic brake conversion is gonna work great so far. Everything clears.

Rear axle going back together for the last time finally ! Just a little welding and build a battery tray now. Well and paint and final powder coat also. And add my led taillights and front headlight.

Hydraulic disc brake and 420cc predator conversion almost complete...............

Getting there finally. Added lights and figured out the battery location. And finished the throttle cable.

Belt slip is fixed ! It was the wrong spring.

and the brakes work great and it wheelies on command also. We cruised it all over town the other day. Hahaha and I got my foot and ankle stuck under it. Everytime I build something and test it I get hurt somehow. Figures.

I just recently acquired 3 similar trikes all in rough shape. I kept the two with the fiberglass seat buckets and gave the third to my brother for doing the swap and transport for me. They all have the differentials intact, one had a factory spring front end like yours, and one has a hinge thing, I think homemade, to fold it in half somehow. Ever seen one that folds? I really dont like the idea and I'll probably cut it out so I can make it rigid because I dont trust it.
