So i am gonna go change the oil in my ct200u it has NEVER i repeat NEVER been changed, and has the gov bypassed the engine randomly clanks and stops when high accel and decel and cornering. but honestly i think its my clutch, opinions?

It might be the clutch, but I think that it is more likely one of the internals. Also, as it's been said many times before, governor bypassing can lead to engine failure, so either remove it, or leave it alone. And how many hours are on the engine? But seriously, what ever happened to simple punctuation?

Weeell, we tried to tell ya, and I'll throw this out there.
You probably blew up the governor and it's bouncing around inside the crankcase.
It could possibly be the clutch, but I doubt it.

The clutch has been concluded junk. but i havent changed the oil yet no oil catcher waiting for my dad to return to give me it.

My opinion is operator error.

You should change the oil every 25 hours or so of use. The thicker the oil gets from trapping contaminants and dirt, the poorer it circulates with the slinger/dipper. Engines run hotter too with dirty oil.

Never have time or money to change oil in everything. i now have 6 projects and i am only 15 with no money or job LOL. Also it has never had an issue other than my clutch

Don't forget that the oil has to be changed at the end of the three hour break-in period to remove all the small metal fragments. Then again at 20 hours, then at 20-25 hour intervals.

And, now this may be a stupid suggestion, but if you have 6 projects and no money, might I suggest that you sell a few projects to someone who can properly maintain them to have some money. I'm 16, and I have 4 karts and a minibike, and I'm cheap and a little broke. Only the minibike and one kart (my streaker) run, so for the others I prioritize and swap parts between things, in a way that makes sense. For example, a 30 series wouldn't work on my Manco because it needs a jackshaft on a backplate, however it does work on my minibike which had a jackshaft on a backplate. And an oil change literally takes less than 10 minutes, so not having enough time isn't much of an excuse.

I prioritize if something breaks, i fix it and if i cant then i leave it. i have to get 2 mini bike carb gaskets and a bunch of stuff for free manco and free scoot. And im trying to buy an engine. And the stuff i have im trying to sell two of the six

It only takes 1/2 a quart and less than 5 minutes to change the oil.

Exactly. Although some things take more time, like my minibike. It has to be put up on blocks (to level it out) and you need one of those u-joint socket things to get the bolt off. But even that takes less than 10 minutes.

I have a ct200u its hard to change oil mostly because its jammed in a corner and it weighs alot so ill try to today.

No excuse to not change the oil. Go collect bottles and save the $3 bucks it costs..or get a job. 5qt jug of supertech 10w-30 is 14 bucks. that would last you a year.

Good thing my dad has Mobil 1 synthetic hangin' around the garage...
'Cause my engine leaks oil anyway.

Please tell me that you didn't break-in your engine using the synthetic oil. It keeps parts from breaking in properly.

But that shouldn’t cause it to leak, are your oil seals bad? Did the side cove gasket rip? Because that doesn’t seem normal too me even if there wasn’t a proper break in

No no no and NO!
I'm talking about my old used and ABused flathead. I've never replaced any of the internals, and I just replaced the really nasty old oil and put some nice 5W-30 synthetic in it, works like a charm, but sometimes leaks a bit.
The oil seals seem fine, I'm 95% sure the side cover gasket is just way old and swelled up and just doesn't seal very well anymore.
Will fix that soon.
