Slinging my chain because my clutch is sliding side to side ; I've tightened the hex heads to the point of bending the Allen keys and still works it's way loose after less than 10 min.
Any thoughts or suggestions ? No real room for spacers.


Edit: went out to work on the clutch problem and found out I'm also having issues with my wheel lock nut coming loose during rotation of the tire : if tighten too much it puts side pressure on bearings and adds load to the motor.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Here's a little demonstration of how some parts that fit most clones are just a little bit smaller than my stock ones.

On the Clutch. I do not use the Allen set Screws at all. I put on a spacer leaving 1/16 ply then a bolt and washer in the end of the crank.
You say there is no room for spacers but then how is it sliding side to side?

Also drill and put a cotter pin in the wheel and axle nut.

Can anyone guess what I used as a clutch spacer ?

Im curious why you need to... there is a shoulder that the clutch rides against... it shouldn't need that much offset?

And more importantly... where does that spacer ride on... does it contact the shaft seal? If so there will be a problem shortly......

My other clutch didn't need that much but it liked to engage while trying to start , ... My " good clutch " has a shorter overall shaft length.
