110v arc welders

Needing a welder for my buggy project but only have access to standard 110v, and me being a big guy I am thinking I need to use bigger tubing so from what I understand is that an arc welder is going to give me more power to melt bigger rods than using a 110v mig with smaller wire, please correct me if I'am wrong please, I have arc and mig welded before and wasn't bad at either so I'am open to suggestions.

If you only have 110 to work with, fluxcore wire welder is the only answer.

I believe I've seen sticks for 110v but mig/FC is much easier to do. Especially if you have to do inverted/ strange angle welding.

If you use larger diameter tubing, rather than thicker wall, you won't have any problem with the welding. Also, the larger diameter tubing is stronger - per weight - than smaller diameter thicker tubing.

Flux core wire feed all the way.

110 volt stick are ok but i personally dont like the way they weld.

I think you also have to buy them tiny welding rods that cost more.

you could just run a 220 line to your garage or where ever your working at,
it's not very hard to do

Its really not, but we dont want someone who may not have any experience with electrical work running a 220 line.

get the 220 and everytime you wanna weld just unplug ur washer and plug in ur welder.

Ya, who has a 220V washer? acg23, the only problem with that is some houses have the laundry room upstairs or in the basement.
