I also find it very hard to believe they would use a 1 piece crank, with a 2 piece rod. I have never seen a motorcycle engine with that style crank/con rod.

ok then im not saying that it isent a pressed crank it most likly is its only me say it could be caped but im probly wrong. tyler your snow ski is a 2 stroke isent it. i had in my mind only 2 stroke engines only had presed cranks because they have to run roller bearings. but i could be wrong

If anything they look like ARP bolts, On the top of the rod journal you can see a 6 sided head. Yes, My sled is a 2 stroke but many 4 stroke bikes also run needle bearing cranks.

Funny how when you throw a bit more boost to a 6.0 power joke it likes to pull bolts and spit out gaskets....

Yeah man im a ford fan but i hate them 6.0 power strokes man they either lift heads spit gaskets, the blocks and heads are just way to thin, you can stud them dang things you can oring em and still they blow gaskets like crazy.

....just like the 4.6s, :mad2: , I work on a taxi fleet, and I can tell ya, the 4.6 doesn't need much of an excuse to pop a head gasket. :furious2:

]it could probaly work but it would look like a wreck, i would image you would have to take connecting rod off the crank, have a sprocket or pully on the fly wheel with the same size on the engine, and then that would probaly work, you wouldnt need to run a belt tensioner because it has a clutch, unless its an manual clutch, thats such a crazy idea it just might work!
