I removed the flywheel and notice the key was almost flush with the shaft. I noticed on the right side of the key it looks like the crank is being worn down. Should I replace the crank or will it be fine? I don't know if I put the photo up right as it's my first attempt.

Ring gaps are in the correct position. It didn't really run, it just sputtered and shot a flame.

With the thicker head gasket I did notice not as much compression when trying to start. I know there is a compression release on the cam but I can still tell the difference. I never would have guessed the flywheel key could be the problem, I'll have to check that out next time I am off of work...

Tires are goin on split rims. I see no need to change rims since they are fine. It's what was on the kart before. Is it possible to not use tubes with split rims?

Yea I staggered them. None of the gaps are on top of each other and none of the gaps are over the wrist pin.

Would too much oil in the crankcasr cause this?
