    use the calculator i posted above i have 11/72 on my kart with 11" tires. i would have gone up to 11/80 if i could have found a sprocket that big for more torque.

    this steel plate is what i made to hook up the bike cable to the throttle box...there is no way to mount the cable when u get it. the throttle cable seems to be secure enough because of the angle the pedal pulls and the mount of the actual sleeve on the back side. ill keep an eye on it

    no build thread yet, ive been too busy. i have taken some pics along the way. I'm still having issues with the pedals, but when i figure it out will take pics. I'm using a HallEffect Throttle box that i got from ebay for about 45.00 (best offer) that should work well. i have 3 10ah batteries...

    Also shop around....monster is expensive. check out TNCScooters, ive found them to be much less pricey than monster. I'm currently building a electric Radio flyer for my daughter. Having problems with the pedals right now but its almost done.

    Fresh - for 15-25mph dpending on weight of driver thats totally possible with an electric I have a 24v 350w motor with 11t sprocket, 36v chinese controller from tnc and 36v twist throttle with led power guage. I'm using 3 12v SLA batteries for 36v. I have a 80t rear sprocket on 10.5" tires...

    1) why 3 motors 2) you are over complicating this greatly with your switches... 3) just run 36v (3 12v batteries) a hall effect throttle/controller setup you can adjust the ammout of speed by applying more/less throttle.

    It depends on how you gear it as well as what size tires you are using. My sons electric go kart has a 24v 350w motor thats over volted to 36v and hes does 18mph it has 10" tires on it and its geared with 12/72
