I would do red rims, and white walls....for the white walls use Krylon fusion paint..prep the tires by scuffing them up with a clean kitchen scubber and some alcohol, mask and paint. krylon fusion is really good at bonding to plastics and should work well on rubber too.

can u give me a little more detail as how u did the sprocket on the live axle? i assume its a #25 chain you u are using? how did you mount the sprocket to the live axle? is that a 1" axle?

Still looking for this hub. The post office is the same distance from your house no matter where you are mailing the package. So Hawaii being far away should not matter unless you are going to hand deliever it. :-) I'm willing to pay for shipping via USPS!

motors rarely die unless it was overvolted. if its charging, i would check with a Multimeter to see if there is voltage getting to the motor controllers are under 20.00, if its the controller. if its the throttle its like 9.00 good luck either way!

toystory - ah i understand. I didnt look to see you were in Canada and didnt realize that they had different meanings there. That makes sense. and true, with the battery box you suggested it would work. I've seen some crazy youtube videos with gokarts w/ massive car batteries doing crazy burnouts.

scooterman - glad you concede. =p Toystory- when i said sealed i meant AGM which is what the OP was talking about when he said he had 4 scooter batteries. They dont use flooded batteries.

check out TNCscooter parts they are much cheaper than Monster and have the same parts pretty much.

the lipos are going to be waaaay lighter but you would need 3 of those packs in parallel to get close to the same amp hours (read: Runtime) that you would get from the SLA batteries.

dude when i'm talking about sealed i'm talking abotu AGM batteries they dont "spill" even in a crash.... please do your research before you suggest people use standard flooded batteries which will leak if tipped over. this is a AGM sealed battery that has been cut open, if this was a flooded...
