    Thanks Ken for the link on the first one. That looks like an interesting option. I'm trying to figure out how to jackshaft my fixed axle cart. This looks like it might work for me, too, without me having to move the engine to the other side of the cart and have a bunch of stuff welded on.

    thanks guys for all the input. Regarding the jackshaft, what gearing gets me to a 12:1 final ratio? 10t on the engine to 20t on the jackshaft, 12t on the jackshaft to my existing 72t on the drive wheel? Anyone know of any pictures of jackshaft setups on carts like mine? thanks!

    Thank you for the confirmation of the set up. Any issue with spacing the drum out from the sprocket using one or more nuts between the two?
