I know the spool that came with my welder sux, but is the regular wire any good? It has good marks on their reviews... The difference in cost for the 10lb spools is a cool $12... and just to check, the 90amp flux... can run a .035 spool, right?

Rather than change the grinding wheel over to cut-off, I had the bright idea to slow down the wire speed to about "0" and put the puppy on max..(This is cheap HF wire, I doubt I would do it with expensive wire).. Surpisingly, it worked quite well for cutting through a piece of 1/2 in pipe...
