    Done finally!!!!

    Thank you! Right now I think it does about 30 with my fat &*% on it. Prolly 35 or more with the 11 yr old. I have a twist throttle but having trouble with the cable so I have to go get another one.

    Throttle Hook up

    I took apart the throttle that comes hooked up on the engine and now not sure how a pcs goes back together. There is a nut, a washer and then a washer type with an arm on it and a slot in the arm. Im not sure what that slot is supposed to hook to. Any ideas?

    I have brakes for it but have not put them on yet. Do you have a picture of how the adjuster bolt assembly goes? I am not sure how it goes. I love the idea for your oil change. I am going to do the tube like you did. Thank man!

    Foot brake lever.....

    Any one have pics of home made foot brake levers? I welded one up but the steel was to heavy. I am going to buy some steel rod and small angle iron. Should be light enough but would love to see some other ideas. Thank you

    Progress finally

    Correct. It only clears it by about 1/8" right now. Which I know won't be enough when in motion. We are going to cut the mounting plate thou. Any other things I should look for? Open to all ideas or listening to past knowledge gained from experience.

    I bought an old dirt bike tire with a sprocket already on it for my mini-bike. How can I figure out what the chain width is that fits this sprocket?

    I bought the 6.5 hp engine from harbor frieght. I need to get a clutch now. I can measure the shaft but how do I measure the key way? The square part that is in the shaft? Anyone buy a Centrifugal Clutch for this engine? Here is the one I am looking at getting. Anything else I should be...

    Gear ratio question

    I have a 37 tooth sprocket on the back tire. I am looking at puttin a 12 tooth sprocket on the engine. Do I have to have odd number teeth on both or does it not matter? Thank you

    Sterring?

    It has bearings in the wheel. But I'm thinking of where the steel and the rim of the wheel touch each other. I have (2) fender washers on each side right now.
