    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

When Nat was not too much bigger than this, I took the kart to a local, defunct manufacturing plant to ride. I would put her in my lap and make circuits around some old kart tires that I had laid around for cones. Once, as I was screaming around the lot, I saw her mouth moving as though perhaps...

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

That's Nat. Mom of three of our grandkids! Pic taken around 1989. It had turbine wheels. Aluminum hubs with steel outer halfs.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I'm not intimidated. This kart ran a carb from a Honda 70cc motorcycle on a home made intake and used a discarded leaf blower fuel tank mounted on a fabricated bracket bolted on using the head bolts.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I don't have a carb yet. What about the Tillotson?

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Even at that, it's likely too close to work without modding the cover.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I love this intake. It's like an Edelbrock for a B&S. Amazing. However, looking at the Tecumseh carbs, it's likely that I'll have to cut a notch in the side cover for the fuel inlet hose, as the intake positions the carb immediately beside the cover.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Ok, got the intake. Fits like a glove! Now, suggestions for a tank setup to use with it?

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Ordered. Thanks. Now I'll have to find a suitable tank and associated bracket.

    Carriage stop

I always make tapped bars like this. Using these, I need only one wrench to loosen the engine and they clamp well enough that the engine never shifts.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Yeah, I'm trying to adapt to an two-hole intake port. Thanks.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Flathead B&S carbs and tanks are getting scarce. Does anyone make an adapter to install a 5HP Tecumseh carb to a B&S? I could make one myself but I'd rather buy something nice.

On some of the other forums that I visit, the original author of the thread is noted on all of their subsequent comments to the thread. It's handy to know in some instances. Thanks.

    Tire Options

These tires don't have the square shoulder like the Kenda slicks that I ran before. I wonder if they're less prone to getting the wave in the contact patch.

    Tire Pressure

I don't recall, but the 4" plastic front wheels have on them, "MAX - 20 PSI". The metal, 5" rears say, 50 PSI

    Carb Questions

Actually, a bit of both. I'd like a float style for the purple kart and a tank mount style for the Dingo, which I expect to sell.

    Carb Questions

I'm trying to get my Dingo going. A fellow gave me a 5HP b&s that has spark and compression but no carb or tank.
