I do not know if you can run a stock tec h40 carburetor with a pulse pump.

I do know I have pulsed many a carburetor and besides a very very simple float adjustment have had zero issues.

I will definitely be more mindful when I recommend a carb setup. Hope i didn’t steer you wrong on this one.

I would think a pulse pump running to the h40 carburetor on your manifold with the shroud drilled for the fuel line to go through would be an ok setup.

This way you can run an external tank and it will still get fuel. The throttle cable is the next hurdle.

It’s so much modifying when stock goes out the window as SparkWizard says your basically re-inventing the wheel.
I'm not intimidated. This kart ran a carb from a Honda 70cc motorcycle on a home made intake and used a discarded leaf blower fuel tank mounted on a fabricated bracket bolted on using the head bolts.

When Nat was not too much bigger than this, I took the kart to a local, defunct manufacturing plant to ride. I would put her in my lap and make circuits around some old kart tires that I had laid around for cones. Once, as I was screaming around the lot, I saw her mouth moving as though perhaps she was trying to tell me something that I couldn't hear over the sound of the engine. There was a lot of loose pea gravel in the lot and I thought that perhaps a rock might have struck her face. I let off of the go pedal and asked, "Nat, are you ok?!"

"I'm SINGING, MASH THE GAS."
