DC CDI ignition wired to any flywheel that has a magnet.

I’m guessing these ecu’s are only for spark and possibly air fuel read out. They are driven off a pickup coil like I have. I know I can hook my pickup coil to a 6al chev box and have rev limiter and two step. But running the whole ECU? Maybe two pickups are needed? I’ll research more but these...

DC CDI ignition wired to any flywheel that has a magnet.

I’m back on this with new found direct knowledge from people who have forgotten more then I will ever learn. I have the engine timed with the Cdi pickup correctly now. The kicker I’m gonna replace the battery with a tecumseh 12v lighting coil. The flywheel magnet powers the lighting coil just...

Better intake springs 3hp B&S flathead?

I’ve been logged out of the forum and my known password hasn‘t worked but today decided to work for I’m not sure reasons… But anyway if OP is still around I used a smog pump. Another member is using a turbo. A 3hp making 15psi on a loaded crank as said above would be making quite a bit of...

Way back machine for the lucky-go motorbike web page?

Not yet I made my own steel bearing side cover for it to support the output shaft. And have a c-sprocket on the output to run a chain. One day I’ll find a mini bike frame to put it on.

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I do not know if you can run a stock tec h40 carburetor with a pulse pump. I do know I have pulsed many a carburetor and besides a very very simple float adjustment have had zero issues. I will definitely be more mindful when I recommend a carb setup. Hope i didn’t steer you wrong on this one...

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I’m sure your figuring out any carb that isn’t the stock tank carburetor will need it’s own throttle cable and gas tank. The Tillotson is ran from a fuel pump so I just run an external tank mounted anywhere I want it. You will need the tools to make a washer for The throttle cable. Any setup...

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

I have never used a tecumseh carburetor with this intake I have only ever used the Tillotsons. Really do hope it works for you and you can get the line hooked up. If it goes through a hole drilled in the metal shroud make the hole a bit oversize and run the fuel line through a rubber grommet...

    Small Engine Motor Madness 🤪

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

Tecumseh intake 51-0-158 is from a 5hp Tecumseh push mower with a float bowl carburetor. Bolts to a two bolt 5hp Briggs block. You will need to make your own throttle cable. I use them for Tillotson carburetors

    Tecumseh Carb Adapter

The only one I know of for a tec float carburetor is 691922 and after buying it a float bowl carburetor and making a throttle you might be $80 into a carburetor swap. IF YOUR BLOCK IS NOT A THREE BOLT HOLE INTAKE BLOCK DO NOT BUY THIS
