Yes had the caliper piston. 7/16-20 a little work with my grinder and shes running and stopping. May go with a karger engine next year. As this one barely hauls my 250lb butt up the hill outback. But the kids are enjoying it so far.

Dismantled to take to work tomorrow. Will find a bolt to work. 1-1/8 nut had to borrow a socket. Manual said it was a 3/4. Lies lol.

Ive got no jam nut or pin. Pads are all there in good shape. Cart was donated to me for my kids and trying to get it together for as cheap as possible. Will buy rebuild kit if I have to. Will spend a day or two looking for just a pin and nut and then throw in the towel lol

part number 5 3931 doesn't come up on the internet for order anywhere. So if someone knew by chance what the size and thread was I could quickly make one to work. If not I will pull caliper and bring to work to find out but if I could do it without having to dismantle things I would...

Brake trouble Need adjusting pin. 3931 manco part number. Not having any luck. Anyone know where I could get one or make my own if anyone knows the bolt dimensions I could just round off the top.:cool:

Got it fired up and took a few laps around. No brakes at all. Have to check for adjustment or replacement. And its very hard to steer while at slow speeds. Probably because of my 250lbs in it lol. Will look for grease fittings and take it from there. ---------- Post added at 09:11 PM...

In the off-season it will be under tarp. Ordered a new carb today as the old one the butterfly are super stiff and hard to move. Waiting I'm a cable and a tire in the mail then maybe I can get this thing rolling around lol

Engines a little weathered. Was told it was out on ran around the yard once and parked lol.

Was given this kart by a friend who wanted to get rid of junk that he had lying around for years. Played around and got the engine running again. Waiting,on a throttle cable. Need to replace or tube the front tires. Have to get a chain together for it. And then figure out a homeade linkage...
