    Interceptor parts?

Well I used to have that exact kind of gokart as a kid. I found everything including clutches, axles, tires/rims, all the way down to the sprockets and brake shoes. Found everything at the k&k hardware store. Not sure where you are located. But most hardware stores are pretty close to being the...

    Modified Twister Kart

Uhhhh. 2" axle if you can come by it or order one along with some new bearings. These bike engines create alot more power than an average gokart engine. And will have that 1" axle tweaked in no time flat. I've never done it myself but have helped others troubleshoot. Not sure where to get one...

    new to me

Should be. But I would be careful if using an arc welder. Piping has a terrible tendency to blow out. And believe me, that will scare the **** out of you. Other than that, should be good. Just take your time. And don't be afraid to ask any questions about this topic. Everyone is usually friendly...

    Kart I.d.

Well well well. As far as design. This kart is extremely close to the expert 2. But margay corrected the mistake by enlightening me that this is a pro x kart. Either way this will be a fun project to complete and get rolling. And to jandj...you are exactly right. Although I have never been known...

    Kart I.d.

Turns out. The motor mounts are not only replaceable. But are fairly easy to modify to fit my kart without doing any harm to the frame. Now I guess the real question is how fast I feel safe going on a vintage kart.

    Mcullough racing engines

Well my grandfather is a Karting wiz/enthusiast. He has devised a starter from a lawn mower battery and a welded together drive spindle attached to a starter from a Ford escort I want to say. It works well for his direct drive engines. He is going to be helping me along with getting this kart...

    Mcullough racing engines

Anyone know where I can find a Mcullough 80cc engine? I've found a few online put together and they are all either a:extremely overpriced, or b:incomplete (no carb or missing components) any help finding this vintage motor would be great. Don't really care if it's in 50 pieces or more. As long...

Anyone know of some plans that would look like the kart in this video?

But I think you will find that most of the guys who have done it successfully and take them out illegally, don't usually give you a good walk-around because they don't want their identity known to the law.

Anyone know of some plans that would look like the kart in this video?

If you generalize your terms and look on YouTube for "monsterkarts" there are a ton of people who have done exactly this. Mostly with more modern bike engines. Water cooled, dual cam, inline 4's that usually come from gsxr's cbr's and Yamaha yzf's. I know there are alot of full walk arounds that...

    Kart I.d.

Not sure what this is. I rescued it from being hauled to the junkyard yesterday. My dad tells me it's a bug. But I did research and it looks nothing like a bug kart. I'm completely baffled as to what I have. I paid less than 40 dollars for it, so whether it's something special or not I'm still...
