Anyone know where I can find a Mcullough 80cc engine? I've found a few online put together and they are all either a:extremely overpriced, or b:incomplete (no carb or missing components) any help finding this vintage motor would be great. Don't really care if it's in 50 pieces or more. As long as everything is present to rebuild. I want to keep my kart build in its Era. I think a complete kart would be alot more valuable sentimentally if nothing else.

Ebay is best bet, but will still be a combination of a plus b. As time goes on it will only get worse.

When in high school (1968?) I bought a Mc101 from an acquaintance. It was in pieces in a plastic box soaking in STP. I paid $40 back then.
I had to start it with an electric dryer motor.
Back then it seemed scary fast.

Well my grandfather is a Karting wiz/enthusiast. He has devised a starter from a lawn mower battery and a welded together drive spindle attached to a starter from a Ford escort I want to say. It works well for his direct drive engines. He is going to be helping me along with getting this kart rolling. I'll check that forum and eBay. Hopefully someone has one or two that are stripped down and I'll rebuild those. Thanks for the advice guys!

Make sure you use your real name when you register, they are picky about that.
Don't worry if it takes a day or two to get you registered.
What kind of kart do you have?
