    Frame construction

Mod... please correct the title...fat thumbs and smart phones dont mix. As.it happens, i scrapped the 4-link suspension... it was creating a lotnof headaches with steering geometry. I originally stayed away from a arms cuz i couldn't find a solution for ball joints... but i worked that out I...

    gearing guidance

Top speed isnt my primary concern right now.. at least not until i can test the stability of my suspension :) I started with a old school hot rod hairpin setup...discovered it wont articulate.... so i went with a friangulated 4 link setup... but that created some real heafaches with...

yeah doing some reading here on the forums.... i'm sure I need to start around 12:1 i'm 360 lbs alone... the kart will problaby be close to 300 itself... the more i say it out loud... it sounds like I should forget about the 212 and look at the 420... ultimately I want to put the 670 twin...

Somthing you dont see every day....

Definitely going to need taller tires... these dont look right anyway. Im loving the way its coming together tho!! Final track width is right around 48" wide. I hope thats enough to keep it stable. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    cub cadet snow thrower

well something is definitely wrong with it. it was hunting/surging under load pretty bad last night, it seemed better if I went to a faster gear and REALLY loaded the engine down,. Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk

Somthing you dont see every day....

Right. I added 12" to the width before i even started. I can add track width easy enough if it proves unstable. I do plan adding a basic roll cage. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Somthing you dont see every day....

I was wondering about a sway bar... i "shouldn't" need one with the geometry of the triangulated 4 link.. i can always adjust the geometry to increase the roll resistance too Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Somthing you dont see every day....

Im not sure about those springs tho... i may need to.lean them in more to reduce the effective spring rate. I can put most of my.body weight on top of them and they hardly.move. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
