I did the steering today after work it worked fantastic but i set it up upside down so when u turn right the wheels go left got to fix it tomarrow lol

Yea I'm took them off a 18 hp yard machine cut off with a grinder and cutting disc i would have finished the front at home but my big welder died and my little lincoln wont penetrate steel that thick besides im gonna run thru the bone yard at work all kinds of good stuff there ---------- Post...

No im using 3\4 round stock but a just saying instead of an actual piece of advice ,so here is what I have been working on

Oh im sorry i didnt know a 5/8 steel rod 2 lengths of pencil rod and a few steel pad eyes equal high speed steering system im pretty sure this will work just fine only things really being added are the gears and bearings to take the struggle out of it

I saw a picture of something like that when i googled rack and pinion it was really neat i think I could pull it off with a little bit of research

Yea your right n i wont have to worry about them going wild with the grinder i think I'm going to attempt steering tomarrow probably gonna steal it off an old riding mower trying not to buy a rack and pinion
