Got the torque convertor on so I could space out and cut/mounted the engine mount.

Torque convertor and rear rims came today. Rear tires come Thursday. Need to order some axel collars and brake rod and once I get TC mounted I need to build a base plate to raise it a few inches because of pillow block bolts.

Maybe I’ll start with the 5 wide on 6 wide rims and see how it goes first as I already have those tires. I wanted turf tires for the back but can only find slicks in the width I want so might end up doing turf in the front and slicks in the back to get it moving

What is the most you can stretch a mower tire for rim? 5” wide tire okay on 6” wide rim? I’m figuring a 6.5 wide tire is too narrow for an 8.5 rim but wondering if anybody has tried?
