I'm hoping so. All I've read says it's a good brand. I checked owners manual and it says nothing about oiling the filters. Replacements online say to oil. But it's just going to be used occasionally during storms behind my house. So I doubt dirt etc is going to be an issue I still may...

i have been meaning to buy one and finally did. Works nicely. planning to see if it'll run my ac today. online says yes I am skeptical. One gripe however is the air filter on the 420cc It is 2 layers of different density foam. Thinking can greet a good element style filter in there?

Run carb dry after use and never had any problems. Also top off tank to avoid stale gas. For short times not talking a season.

Mineral spirits works wonders followed by chain lube after it dries completely.

I might give that a try. I'll have to see if the stops will work reversed haven't looked that close.
