So a little change. The angled bed frame metal was dirty and wouldn't weld. So I got some 1 square from tsc. And I got the front bottom frame done. The frame is angled up a bit to help with approach angles to the front suspension.

Got the front suspension started. Building a box to hold all 4 control arms. Remember the hf wheel are for mock up and move around.

I had a blue one just like it. It was calked the gladiator!

In total I have $20 in the whole thing. The wheels are for initial setup and working out the bugs. Once I really start riding it it will get good wheels and tires.

Finally got to work on nightmare. Got the front part of the cage partially complete. Dont worry the two vertical bars will be cut off.

Just an update. Not on nightmare but my son's quad. Went through the writing and redid a bunch. It now has high and low beam head light and a tail light. Plus it just looks cleaner now.

you guys crack me up! thanks on the welds, self taught welder here, i have done flux and mig. i have stuck with the flux since it is simple and does well. so far i can still pick the frame up with no issue on my own. i am planning on having it geared down a bit for decent torque and take off...
