yes its worth it. I have actually have a 5hp tecumseh engine on mine. carb issues are usually minor, just some gunk build up. As long as your not apposed to taking things apart... Also check out the lil 5hp guide, tips to give u more power. AND welcome to the forums:auto:

I think the idle speed is fine, Ive done a lot of work with these small engines before, (especially tecumseh) and I did adjust the idle a little. I dont however have any knowledge of clutches other than basic operational principals. I wouldn't know how to take it apart or lube it. thanks to...
