Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

As much as I hope you getting running great, I feel so unsatisfied. You didn’t waste time. I only come here to waste time.

    Budgeting Help!!! (please)

since you are on a tight budget… get rid of the gearbox. Gokarts are pushed when they need to go backwards. You don’t need neutral if you use a centrifugal clutch or torque converter / Continuously Variable Transmission. A gearbox just adds cost and complicates things in my opinion. If you can...

Was watching one of my favorite YouTube programs and saw Cletus put a sidecar on a motorcycle and was wondering why people don’t use side car bodies for GoKarts. Probably cause they are expensive and maybe rare?

Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

If this guy can run a see through engine on rum… I don’t see why a bit octane booster would hurt.

Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

I don’t think it would have hurt anything. Does the booster/gas mixture light on fire when a lighter is put on it? And if it didn’t gunk up the carb, I don’t see a harm in it. Waste of money for your engine, but I don’t think it’s the problem. As long as it’s just Regular Octane Booster and not...

Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

Sort of. I wouldn’t say it’s getting too much air - as not enough fuel. The more oxygen an engine gets the better as long as it’s controlled. Adding fuel to match the amount of air is the easier part of a gasoline engine. But yes. If there is too much air, it needs more fuel. If there’s...

Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

If the carb is clean… And you sprayed starting fluid to determine there is no intake gasket leak… And you made sure the gas tank is venting… Then I think the larger jets would be worth a try. you said you have 85, 95, and 100? Try the next larger one and see if it improves. If it does, try...

More head height = Increase in Voltage If resistance to flow stays constant… Current, errr gas flow, is increased. There… I’ve translated it.

You see? It’s adjustable for variable head height. For heavy flow days… a little more head.

This tank is smaller (1.5 gallon vs 2.4) and more expensive, but might fit better. Slightly different mount style. It’s about as wide as the seat and only 16” long. The backbone is about 35”. The seat is 18” long but can hang off the back a bit. This length of gas tank gives some wiggle room.

For this type of gas tank, what is the intended “attachment” point that these things “hook” around? Something like a bushing on each side of the “backbone”?

Problem with after market driven pulley on trail master

Question for the gang: What size fuel line do you use? I use that 1/4” stuff but sometimes struggle to fit it with clamp around carb inlet nipple. I assume 1/4” is overkill for most my applications. Do most ppl use 3/16” ? I see 3/32” and 1/8” being sold for small engines.

The interesting question is: “Does neuroscience support the idea of free will?” Do we make choices? Do we author our thoughts? Or do we simply observe thoughts as they seemingly randomly appear inside our minds from out of the ether. Maybe you click on the video? Maybe you don’t? But is...

    Clutch not engaging

Perfect… have fun. And be ready to lift the engine an inch or so like I mentioned … if the backing plate for the driven unit will contact the kart frame. Most people mount the backing plate so it’s angled towards 4:30 on the clock when looking at the crankshaft output. On 212 CC’s this puts...

    Clutch not engaging

Did you tell us how tall the tires are? Honestly you should be ok unless you got some big 22” tires or something… If they are really small like 10” diameter rubber you might be doing burnouts and seek for faster top speed in the future… if the bottom end acceleration is good, but want more top...
