    Post your finished projects!!!

Trust me, I can take the ball busting. (I spent 35 years in prison…as an officer, Sgt., & Lt.) Hard to show sarcasm in print. I took a chance that the motor was a good one. I cleaned the carb, gas tank, new plug, and bought an air filter kit for it. AFTER I put the kart together I tested the...

Sold it for $100 to my neighbor across the street. I put a throttle restrictor on it to satisfy the mom.

Go kart #14 Resurrected! This is a roughly 1959 Yazoo. Unfortunately it was stretched from the original. If it had been left original it would have worth roughly $1500 according to my research. I sold this one for $100 to one very happy kid.

Go Kart #12 restoration. This go kart (Manco Dingo White Fox II) was given to me by a friend who works for John Deere. For me, it was only appropriate that I created a John Deere theme kart. I already have a buyer….$100.

Go kart #11 restoration. Path Winder. I intended on giving it to my neighbor but when I speed checked it, no way…..39.6mph! Instead of selling it for my usual of $100, I think I will put $250 just to make sure and “older” kid gets it.

    Rare Find?

This is the response I got from Go Karts R Us: If you have a 285-28, then you have a model 285 with a revision change of 28. They did not make a parts manual for every revision just to note, so take the closest number (next higher maybe?) and compare. A lot of these parts for this machine are...

    Rare Find?

No. It is clearly 285-28. BMI Karts doesn’t have it listed either. An enigma for sure.

    Rare Find?

I just purchased my 13th go kart restoration project. $200. I have good plans for this one. When I got it home I found the tag and model number. Manco Dingo Model: 285-28. I cannot find this exact model anywhere. Why?
