    Gokart too rich?

Well, there you go. New doesn't always mean correct. ..............and all of the other reasons a new or old carb can overflow fuel..............

    American Sportworks Hornet 3170

As long as it has a proper harness to keep you planted in the seat while it rolls over 2-3 times, it'll fit you.

Obla-Di-Obla-Dah. Desmond and Molly Jones and you Beatles fans know what that is. They found a light bulb by accident too.

    Gokart too rich?

Why does excess fuel flow out? Let's see, needle valve has to open to let more fuel in, needle valve has to close when the carb is full so that it doesn't overflow, so why does it overflow? Spitballin' here, but a tiny piece of trash between the needle and the seat? Overnight soak of the carb in...

    Stumped

If you have to slide everything off of the axle on one side (bearing, any locking collars that aren't double-split, brake disc, sprocket, etc., don't ever do it again trying to determine the right number of teeth that you need for a larger gear ratio that doesn't melt clutches. Use a sprocket...

Help! Engine Swap on Carter Bros from Tecumseh 6.5 to Predator 212 w/ series 30 torque converter

Whatever that chain hanging off the left rear wheel is supposed to do needs to be abandoned. Just start fresh with a simple live axle, sprocket, and brake. The new sprocket can be aligned with wherever your new TC's sprocket is. Floor it and hang on, brakes are for quitters. Then put brakes on...

    Torque converter issues

Cleaning seems to be a huge priority. Those centrifugal striations on the face of the driver are a clear indication that at some point someone sprayed a liquid type of lube all over the place. Have you replaced the belt? Petroleum products cry to join up with other petroleum products.

Coleman RTK200 (basically a KT196) seat belt harness size issue for younger kids.

I'm a fan of that, having the experience myself of long straps. However, when I tried local upholstery shops just to get a beaded edge sewed into a custom minibike seat, they blew me off as too small of a job for their high-dollar work, even the little hole-in-the-walls. Do fold it up, but just...

Oww! Unfortunately, my tenderized brain can't hold those many ideas. All I can think is a faux leaf spring on each side, with some concealed actual suspension. Only when being bounced would the truth come out. That great plywood drawing shows about 3" of travel before the tires hit the fenders...

Predator 212 bogging at slight throttle.

Wasn't actually about the gaskets at all, it was about the low jet being matched to the main jet. Too lazy to dig deeper for just the jet kit, and besides, you mentioned carb and header, but not the hi-flow air filter, much less the engineered venturi of the adapter as opposed to the flat-faced...

    Axle rust

I'll call the 2nd ex-wife and ask her if she knows about the axles. She could tell you all day about how the piston and the rod do the same job, and that frequent lubrication keeps the entire ride appropriately pleasant with no screeching preventing it. Sorry, I couldn't resist either.

    Axle rust

There's lots of products that claim to prevent rust. Decision has to be made about whether or not you want a residual film left on the metal. WD-40 leaves a film, Brake-Kleen and contact cleaner does not, etc. It's the residual film that repels water, which of course causes rust. Does anybody...

Great scale drawing, looks like the seat is even with the tops of the tires. That should definitely help keep the center of gravity low enough. Is the motor going to sit like cargo in the back, or do you plan on encasing and fan cooling it? I can imagine it would stay just below line of sight...

    Painting a Duramax 440?

If there's wheelie bars or not, I'm guessing at least some sort of rollover protection is called for. At least a strong top bar and something to keep you in it if it falls over on one side. Lumbar stuff ain't nuttin' to take chances with. Take it from a 64-year old crash dummy.

Great progress, glad you got a proper basis for a jackshaft. Weld the holes closed? Thought only splatter-welding hole-blowing bumblers like me had gotten good at welding holes closed. It's an artform.

So you're estimating that a scale repro with the low-slung extra weight will provide what? Enough stability to make it match the full-scale? Just enough to improve on it? Nothing derogatory, thought hard about how to say it so. Seen your electric videos, I'm 6'3" skinny at 150#, and you look...
