I've had this kart for several years and finally decided to get it running for my kids Christmas. Purchased a series 30 torque converter last year and never got around to installing it because of these issues. Bought a Predator 212 last week and finally started the process of getting this thing rolling again after years of sitting idle.

Got the Tecumseh and the old inboard mount TC off, but now I can't figure out how to retrofit the 212 and the TC into the existing axle and sprocket combo.

Also, I'm totally a newb to this stuff, so please go easy on me ;)

Thanks in advance,
CW

Your going to need a welder and a live axle, or to build some type of jackshaft set up.
Appreciate the feedback! @Denny!

I have access to a welder and should be able to order a live axle if i what to look for.

any additional details you can provide so i know what to look for?

Whatever that chain hanging off the left rear wheel is supposed to do needs to be abandoned. Just start fresh with a simple live axle, sprocket, and brake. The new sprocket can be aligned with wherever your new TC's sprocket is. Floor it and hang on, brakes are for quitters. Then put brakes on it for the kids.
