What does the front spacer look like? Is it this? If it doesnt have it, can I use a couple washers?

Also, how much length of jackshaft do I need for the driven? I have about 15/16ths of an inch of shaft when i remove the sprocket. I might be able to give myself more space by getting a longer bolt for both sides.

I'm going to be racing with my friends on a track he made, but its a very curvy track. i'm not going to be using full throttle much, and there is going to be alot of stop and go. not very good for a clutch.

i was thinking about mounting the TC driven on the jackshaft directly, but the problem is that the jackshaft axle is 3/4 and the driven pulley on a tav2 is 5/8.

Yup oiling the bushing fixed it, all i need to do now is clean the carb

I know how to clean a carb, but how do i oil the clutch?

Ive been trying all day to fix but I have no idea how to fix my problem. I have a 5hp briggs 135212 and for some reason when you open the choke more than halfway, it stalls. Also, the brand new clutch keeps engaging every other second. If the tire cant spin, the clutch starts to make a horrible...

wouldnt i need to switch to a live axle for the sprocket to be on the inside of the chassis? i dont think the axle goes that far. Isnt that why the sprocket is on the outside of the chassis?

Oh haha i dont need the jackshaft already on it so i guess i can just move the engine closer to the sprocket and just remove the jackshaft. Sorry!

Forgove me for my stupidity, but would I install the TC so that its output is above the jackshaft input and then run a chain from the TC output to the jackshaft input? I dont think there is enough space to place the tc lvel with the jackshaft

Tomorrow I am going to buy this go kart, but I need to replace the clutch with a torque converter. The only problem is that it has a jackshaft placed different from where I have normally seen one. Any idea on how I would install a tav2?
