    As I understand this... The chain is coming off under acceleration and under recoil... I see one issue... Is the center of pivot of the rear end, the sprocket in the middle?? Or not.. It looks like the recoil is loosening the chain...

    Ok.... Take this from a guy who's a scrounger, bit of a wheeler-dealer and eclectic tinkerer...(my self that is)... Get out there and start looking about.. travel the block and look around in empty lots, construction areas(DONT STEAL ANYTHING, ASK, THEY'LL MOST LIKEY GIVE IT TO YOU FOR FREE)...

    Heck it might not even have a pinched wire.. a scratch on the insulation would do that... I remember one job came in the shop on day( when I used to repair electric motors)... we had this stator like that above, buddy wanted to get a quote on for rewireing.. After tests, we find a tiny scratch...

    Dont get me wrong, Im not complaining....I know it sounds like I harp on people sometimes about no pics....     Off hand I know its metric... Take the throttle plate in to check and get a new one.. I usually replace that one with a much better head(allen or the like), the Philips generally strips out after a few tightenings...

    Gr8 is fine but probably overkill in strength. Any bolt should be able to handle it..

    If you saw plastic bits.. there's your problem.. The gear is the only place it came from.... Is the metal flyweights still attached?

    Theyre alright....Not the greatest.... But theyare for a China quad.. the 3 bolt pattern is typical of the China imports and the hubs for them are going to be a real pain to source... but the thing is going to need an axle to fit it which is metric and has a splined end.... I cant tell off hand...
