    the height between the top of the shock and the where the a arm is attached is at least 300mm so i think i will have to consider redesigning my steering for the bump steer issue.

    so what you saying is i must keep the tie rods factory(so a link that connects the two red rods in the above images) and insert a metal bar that connects the two factory tie rods together and that will minimise the bump steer?(the brown bit is the so called linkage)

    Hello I am building an offroad go kart and would like to know if 1.6mmx30mmx30mm rhs mild steel would be suitable for the base frame and 1.6mmx25mm circular tubing would be suitable for the roll frame of the go kart. I am thinking of using the sidewinder concept from www.edge.au.com

    Ok I'll figure out which is which. Must the fuel pipe from the filter to the carbs be full in the prime position when the quad is turned on?? Cos it's never full

    It's only attached to the middle bit the black is what the axle looks like , the red is the swing arm and the blue is the sporcket
