    chinese parts which I can easily and cheaply swap out with higher quality american aftermarket parts, i've thought it through bud finding replacement parts for a clone seems alot easier and cheaper then finding parts and repairing a chinese honda ohc knock off :cheers2:

    planning on switching to hydraulic brakes and tires getting rid of the plastic and making it some what of a mini street fighter and bolting in a modded clone maybe making an engine cage for it. aiming for a 1/3 scale version of that

    two strokes are a pain in the arse if you dont know anything about them and I just know how they work and Im kinda new to small engines in general, a pit bike engine is expensive and quality sucks since most are chinese made. on top of that the wiring and fabricating brackets for the shift pedal...

    Cool thanks bro The reason I want the upgrades is because this will be going on my pocket bike so high rpms is what I'm looking for with abit more power.

    I was looking to get into getting a clone to put on my pocket bike I have what looks like an x2. i heard that these engines are a threat ungovernd so if I install a billet flywheel and con rod should I'm guessing I should get 18lb valve springs right? and will the flywheel key strip at high rpms?

    i dont know dude i dont see a gokart going into full out drifting at such a low rpm or power to weight ratio unless your tires are small enough but thats no fun.

    you need high rpms or gears to drift a go kart bro. best chance is a bike engine maybe built clone or a beefed up gy series. good luck

    thanks bro... well i went through all of it yesterday i have what looks like a x2 pocket bike, a vtwin in pieces, and an electric scooter and a bqq trigger which i have a plan for all ready. but the pocket bike has my interest at the time so that might be my project. Ill try to get some pics...

    Sup guys im eric, currently a student working on my gm certifications in automotive and am currently in the process of enlisting in the army... other then that im thinking about making a project out of the crap i have in my shed and hope to learn more about small engines in the process. BTW...
