    making 5hp Briggs more quiet?

Got a 1995 5hp Briggs motor, all stock, runs good after carb rebuild. I still have the stock muffler, there aren't any holes in it just wondering if theres any way to make them even more quiet, aftermarket or custom without greatly reducing power

    Steering too sensitive?

So I tried crossing the arms on the pitman, they cleared the frame just fine so there won't be any need to bend it, problem is that the threaded part that the nut screws onto on the tie rod is too long, they touch eachother in the crossed configuration, just wanted to give an update on that

    Steering too sensitive?

Dont mean to get off topic but does Anyone know how old or around the time these thunder karts were produced? The date code on the motor reads 11/28/95 looks like it could be the original motor too, its one of those 5hp Briggs "fun power" models. Just curious lol

    Steering too sensitive?

yeah because all of the Thunder karts like mine I see the pitman arm is bent at the top and the tie rods aren't crossed, im willing to try it if it will make a difference but if it was designed that way it was for a reason, thinking it might be out of alignment or something else that should be...
