Live axle means both wheels move in same direction posi-traction or positive traction. Why are you using 3/4" are you using lawnmower rims/tires?

hi,:welcome2: to the forum, you can look on ebay for the sprocket hub... 3/4" stuff are hard to find(at least for me). as for the pillow blocks, yes they would be great for a live axle as long you have room for them on your frame. you can find those on ebay for sure.

Hmmmm, very interesting, because a friend of mine blew apart his flywheel witch caused a hole in the block (grey hound 6.5) after removing the governor and not changing valve springs.

offroad karter. The first things you should get/make is 1. air filter adapter, with filter 2.bigger jet (i use #90) 3.header that will get you about 1 more hp If you want to go even faster you could remove the governor,but if you do that then you will either have to get a tach or billet...

That is plenty long enough. Check your welds around the flange because air can seem in, an tighten down the exhaust bolts.

You are back firing because air is mixing with un-burned fuel, causes = exhaust pipe is no totally sealed to the engine or your pipe is to short.

Hi, i had a go kart some what like yours, mine had 20 inch atv tires with a bone stock 6.5hp with a tav, it went through the Florida sugar sand pretty well. it went a bout 30mph with 10-55 tooth gearing.

Alright thank you guys. I was mainly trying to find out where I could find a set of rubber. Since it's summer, I will probably paint the rest of the stuff. I wire wheeled the whole frame and removed all of the rust before i primed then did 2 coats of paint.
