Those tires are awesome for burning off.

    Governor adjustment

Wouldn't taking the 40-60 mins to remove the governor be a more prudent solution to this issue?

work in progress , my manco quicksilver 2

I am cobrawannabe on Focaljet. I'd suggest you buy H&R over KSport. They're $200 more and twice the part. Good luck!

    Meet Project Clam Wagon

Got tired of fidgeting with the old 196 and put a 212 Hemi on the Clamwagon today. Started running it in with the open-element air filter and we were pretty pleased with how it went. Once the Predator is totally freed up, I'm looking forward to some good fun.

Another question: Would a PZ22 work well on a clone? If so, will it require a new intake manifold?

    Go-Kart Alley the Series

I've found that a lightly-modded clone will really turn a tire over if you run an un-keyed wheel on the engine side of the axle.

    Meet Project Clam Wagon

Ran out of time after tossing two new tires on the kart, putting on the new air filter, and changing the sprocket/chain on Saturday. It's running like crap right now if I can get it to run for more than a few seconds, but I think that has to do with the choke arm not being reinstalled. Is there...

NR Racing kit, exhaust parts, throttle cable, and spare timing key are all here. Hopefully I can break out the welder this weekend and knock out some progress!

    Noob Predator Engine Question

There are a myriad of ways to do it safely, including "intelligent" use. Is is certainly a risky endeavor, but you shouldn't run into too many issues if you use the ungoverned engine responsibly.

    Meet Project Clam Wagon

So I'm an idiot and forgot to review my order... I picked up the kit for a GX200 rather than a 4-bolt clone. DERP! My question is if there are any differences between the GX200/clone air filter adapters and jets. I wasn't planning on doing the valve springs yet since we won't be putting a...

    T Bucket

Single cars don't prove anything in the scheme of an argument that covers hundreds of thousands of units. I'm a Ford man, and I firmly believe the Mustang has been a better car over the decades than the Camaro/Firebird, but I'll be the first to say that I believe this because the car best fits...

Decided to get the NR Racing Stage I kit today. Exhaust will be soon, I'm not sure I'm ready to drop $100 on exhaust materials just yet.

    Craigslist SCORE!!

I think a built Predator 420 or a Predator 670 (depending on shaft size, of course) would be awesome.

Sprocket and chain came in on Monday, now we wait for the sprocket hub. I'm probably just going to pull the trigger on the exhaust materials today.

    Welding again.......

I can't remember the brand/code (I think it was ESAB since it was on a wire spool by my recollection), but the wire was specific to welding on metal that was tough to prep/ a bit dirty. We did do quite a bit or surface prep, but it clearly wasn't perfect; the pics just made it a bit worse than...
