Is that a good thing since its been bored for the extra hp? I havent try to turn it over yet. I am gonna see if i can get a good deal on a kart starter or try one of the method Anderkart mention earlier.

There seem to be alot of rust on the bolts, kart and the drive axle. I think i got some work to do, gonna sand it out and repaint the whole roller before i work on the engine.

whats the best way to clean the carbon buildup on the piston?

I took the head gasket off and the inside chamber look to be clean no scratches of anything major but the top piston has some dark black dry smudge. I am not sure if the smudges is rust or dry gasoline with oil.

Thanks for the information. I contact margay to identify the serial, it came up as a 1991 Margay Lynx A/C. For the engine there seem to be no compression or maybe cause the spark plug is remove? I took the engine head gasket off and rotate but the engine cylinder piston dont seem to be moving up...

yea it is a rotax i find the carb serial number and look it up and its from either 71-72 ski doo Olympique 399. Its definitely not a 340,but thats even better!

i posted some picture on a snowmobile forum got some answear. Indeed it is a 70's engine, some guy said it look like his 75 ski doo snowmobile. Now if only i can find a manual for it.

Those were the only number on the tag 1888032 no other writing. If so thats a engine from the 70's thats gonna be tough to find out anything about it.
