Definitely looks like it needs a seal for one of the shafts, might as well drain and refill it with new gear oil. A Predator 420 would be a step up to what you have and would be a cheaper bolt on replacement with next to no modifications to do.

There also might be specific aftermarket camshafts that might have this problem already solved. One would have to contact companies and find out for sure. Also not sure what year this particular engine is, let alone what years this started. Might just be engines of the last 5 years, no idea...

What gearbox is on the 613? Not finding much specs for it. It's possible a 670 might work. Could also look at a smaller V-twin.
