ok this is what i come up with it looks pretty good to me . I just need to stiffin up the frame but that aint no problem. I will just put an extended bumper on it.and i will half to put a spacer on the sprocket to get it away from the frame it looks pretty tight right now i have not tryed it...

i got it. i can burn a coller on the plasma table the thickest i can burn is 3/8 steel. a 3/4 bore and a 1 inch O.D and weld it on a disc. that should work as long as its true right. do you think i can make my own disc out of like 12 gauge steel. just thought of that one. i can burn most any...

why you dont think the 3/4 will hold up with the 16 hp motor.so i should start collecting the parts for a 1 inch axle now.

i havent bin able to find one on any of the gokart sights.a hub is one thing getting a disc to fit it is another.you would think some one would make a 3/4 bore disc brake set up for karts. but i will keep looking

im looking for a 3/4 bore brake disk for my axle. im running a brake band now but with a 16 hp motor i dont think that will have to much stopping power. ive looked every were on line with no luck. they are all 1 inch or bigger.and changing my axle to 1 inch is not an option. thanks for all input

The Driven Pully does it matter what way it goes on? can the spring be facing left or right. i can only fit it with the spring to the left if your standing behind the cart.i was told its reversable but want to make sure before i make my jackshaft plate.thanks

thank you I do have a jack shaft i bought before the clutch i got it at ubuildit.com it was my cheep way out but did not work very well.i got it because my motor has a 1-1/8 crank shaft and could not find a clutch till i found the comet clutches.and dint think i needed a jackshaft with that set...
