Finally got the kart out on some trails with some friends. I hit a ditch and the motor cut off and wouldn't restart. We messed with it and eventually gave up and got a new 212. One of us will do an autopsy at some point. I'll try to get some go pro helmet videos next time. Currently ripping great and we've gotten a younger kid his first experience on a go-kart, so I consider the day a success.
For those who are curious, we have spark and used carb cleaner to rule out a fuel issue, nothing. We pulled the flywheel to look for a sheared key, it was fine. We pulled the valve cover and found that a rocker arm had slipped off the pushrod. We were without feeler gauges and eyeballed it but nothing.
