My bad, I guess this post was a bit misleading.:oops: I'm referring to the spacing between the jackshaft and the fuel tank is not wide enough, so I need to move either the engine over or shorten the jackshaft casing. I'm just wondering which is more structurally sound?

So I want to replace the centrifugal clutch with a torque converter, but there isnt enough width between the jackshaft and the engine for the driven. What should I do?
