With that 60 tooth how much clearance do you have. I believe you going need to use
a JS specially using the #35. But I let the others experts chime in on this.
What I am thinking is for the one that is bent is to replace it and install a pillow block in the center.
Then and the rear JS moved all the sprockets to the far left. Then cut the JS in 1/2 and move
Pillow over to the left in (center) of current JS. This will reduce the area to about 5-6...
Tell me about it.
I think I need to disassemble the whole back again including the engine at shocks. Painting the underside of the new cross bar will be best if I can flip it.
Thanks Poboy,
moving the sprockets close to the wheel will make more since. Shorting the
Jackshaft between the pillows will make it stronger.
Thanks again for all your help.
I will need to order some new parts and do some more welding, painting etc.
Dang!
Poboy, Not sure if I understand. Are you basically say to shorten the length of the jack shaft between the jack shafts.
My thought was to add a pillow block in between the torque and the 10T gear. This will give a spread of only about 5 inches.

Well something went wrong on my first trip.
I went around the street this AM and heard a thunk about 5 mins in
When I got in the drive way I noticed the jack shaft (3/4") is bent.
Just for info My TC40 is on the JS with the 10T which goes
to the 2nd JS with a 29T. Then the 2nd 10T which...
What I learned today I thought would be very helpful to pass along
to the rest of this forum.
I was having serious issues bleeding my new disk brakes as I was getting air into the system. Everything I tried to get it out I was not
successful.
After several minutes of google and youtube.
I...
Kelly, I got the stock air box off and was able to put a nice strong sping on it so it returns
back to home. Throttle working good and it reving up nice like a caged lion...
Just to get this #$#$%^@$@ brakes bleed correctly. Still getting air in the lines. Reading several suggestions now.
Got much more done this week. Slower at work for a few days....
I got the engine and double jack shaft with my TC 40 on the swing mount. Front wheels and tie rods back on. Gas and brake are now connected. Just to adjust the hydraulic disk brake and bleed the lines. Then we can test it out...
It was misleading on this nut inside. Turn out there a nut there attached to the throttle arm. But not bolt in it.
I was able to get the air housing off and got a strong spring added for a turn to home (idle).
